The Samsung NV40 is a 10.5 megapixel digital camera (CCD) with a 3x Schneider-Kreuznach Varioplan branded 3x optical zoom lens (37mm – 111mm).

The NV40 features a lens with built in optical image stabilization as well as software based anti-shake technology (for both movie and still images).  It also features self portrait mode, face detection technology and the ability to shoot at up to 3200 ISO.

The NV40 has an Advanced Movie Mode which can record movies at 640×480 pixels at 30 frames per second.

The Samsung NV4 is an 8 megapixel point and shoot digital camera, with a 3x optical zoom lens (28mm – 114mm equivalent), 2.5 inch LCD screen in a slim style casing.
 
The NV4 is a multimedia camera featuring MP3 and text viewer as well as an advanced movie mode enables capturing of video at 800 x 592 pixels (MPEG-4).  It also features face detection, red eye fix and measures 94.5 x 57.0 x 17.5mm.
